1. Data We Collect
1.1 Account & Authentication Data
- Email Address:
Collected when you register or log in to our official website at https://pingapps.top.
- Authentication Cookies from pingapps.top:
Collected to verify your identity and synchronize your membership subscription status with our API server (https://api.pingapps.top/).
1.2 Data We Explicitly DO NOT Collect
Our extension is designed with a fundamental principle: we never collect, store, or transmit the most sensitive personal information. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Passwords of any kind (e.g., your Instagram password, Twitter/X password, Google account password, etc.).
- Credit card information or other financial data.
- Government-issued identification numbers (e.g., Social Security Number, passport number, driver's license).
- Private biometric data.
The cookies we access from third-party websites (e.g., Instagram.com) are used solely for session authentication. We do not, and cannot, access or extract your actual login credentials (username and password) from these cookies or from your browser.
1.3 Third-Party Website Data

Collected only after you explicitly grant permission. Used solely to perform automated actions (e.g., sending messages) as configured by you.
1.4 User-Generated Data
- Task history, configuration settings, and logs:
Generated during use and stored locally in your browser.

- All data stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure mechanisms (
LocalStorage,IndexedDB). - No user data uploaded to cloud servers, except minimal auth cookies for membership verification via https://api.pingapps.top/.
- Instagram cookies held only in volatile memory, never persisted to disk or transmitted externally.
We cannot access, store, or transmit your login passwords for any website.
- Industry-standard practices to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or data breaches.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data to any third parties, including:
- Analytics services (Mixpanel, etc.)
- Advertising networks
- Data brokers or marketing partners
The only external communication:
A secure HTTPS API request to https://api.pingapps.top/ to verify subscription status using only your pingapps.top auth cookie. No browsing history, Instagram content, personal messages, or your passwords are transmitted.
5. Your Rights & Choices
You have full control over your data. You can:
Stop Data Collection:
- Log out from pingapps.top or Instagram within the extension to stop cookie access.
- Uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.
Access & Export Your Data:
Open the extension's "History" panel to view, download, or export task logs and configurations.
Delete Your Data:
- Use "Clear History" in the extension to delete IndexedDB data.
- Clear browser data via Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data.

6. Extension Permissions Explanation
Transparent Permission Usage
Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions to function as intended. Each permission is strictly necessary for core features and is used only for the purposes described below.
Storage Permission
RequiredTo persistently save user-configured conditions, settings, and task history locally in your browser.
Scripting & ActiveTab Permission
RequiredTo inject our content script into the Instagram Direct Messages page (https://www.instagram.com/direct/inbox/) for displaying our task UI and executing automated message-sending logic.
UnlimitedStorage Permission
RequiredTo store large volumes of user-generated data, including detailed task history, logs, and configuration settings, without being limited by the default browser storage quotas.
Cookies Permission
RequiredTo read authentication cookies from www.instagram.com and pingapps.top domains.
Alarms Permission
RequiredTo schedule and manage background tasks that execute at specified intervals.
Host Permissions Permission
RequiredAccess to www.instagram.com and pingapps.top for user information and API communication.
